Grief is not only about death, but also divorce, major illness, loss of personal connections, break-ups, and relocation. Loss can create physical responses and emotional turmoil, especially in children.
Psychologist Mooney Niu will help parents and teachers learn how to guide children through a grieving process. Attendees will be able to build resilience in the children in their care, giving them tools to not forget, but integrate loss into their lives, a skill that will serve them through adulthood.
This presentation is designed for both parents and educators of children of all ages.
