Speaker for the week: Rotarian Danny Stoetzer/ Saving the World from Plastic Waste

Plastic makes up a major portion of municipal waste. Its advantage in production and usage becomes a burden after regular usage. Although plastic is widely used in many products, its handling after the life span has become a concern due to its durability: regular plastic takes hundreds of years to biodegrade. For several decades, scientists have been looking for a solution to the plastic waste problem.
Mr. Daren Baiport is French, Chadian, Egyptian origin and has been living in China for the past ten years. After being an entrepreneur in the fashion industry, Daren has partnered with Danny to build aeptis as a solution provider for the retail industry including providing plastic items that biodegrade in under five years and are compostable.
Our speaker and fellow Rotarian Mr. Danny Stoetzer has a marketing and publishing background and has been living in China for ten years. With experience in marketing production, he focusses on biodegradable and compostable plastic items in aeptis to provide products that meet the demand of more eco-friendly solutions in retail industry.
