The most anticipated networking event is back in town. This month, the General Manager Wesley Ng is taking our members to network at Casa Fengchao, an exclusive private club newly founded by Hong Kong-born etiquette specialist Ms. Sara Jane Ho. It is the former residence of heavy-weight late Qing official Rong Lu (荣禄), who also shares the same bloodline with the last Chinese Emperor Pu Yi (溥仪). Event details are as below:

Venue: Rong Lu Residence (inside Yiqing Institute), 7 Ju’er Hutong, Jiaodaokou, Dongcheng District, Beijing

Directions: Drop off at cross street of Jiaodaokou Nan Dajie and Juer Hutong. Walk 200 metres down the hutong until you see an ivy covered building and steel gate on the right. Walk through the gate to Rong Lu's former residence.

Cost: RMB 280 (Include two standard drinks and a token to taste fine wine and tea)

About Rong Lu Residence (Casa Fengchao Phase 1)

Rong Lu Residence was built in 1875 at No. 7 Ju’er Hutong. It is the former residence of Rong Lu, a senior government official during China’s Qing Dynasty. It was used to receive foreign envoys and important guests at that time. After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the Residence was also once served as the Embassy of Afghanistan.
